K Artwork Released - Character Previews Revealed

If you're enticed by K Project's ultimately attractive trailer then here's a glimpse of the characters that you'll be encountering once the anime is released. So far only two lolitas are displayed with the other one having big oppai (gome).

The Ninth Blu-Ray volume of IdolM@ster will include this confirmed unaired bonus episode which just appeared out of nowhere. So far I've been seeing a lot of Moe characters singing in the clip but can't understand if this is a new to the show or a side story by one of the characters.

Jinrui wa Suita Shimashita Trailer 2 released

Here's another trailer again featuring the blabbing chickens............. Actually another trailer for Jinrui Wa Suita Shimashita which I've featured a few days back. I almost forgotten the anime because I'm busy watching April releases in Japan and good thing is that I manage to find it in the archives.

I just finished sorting up my anime review page last night and noticed that I've only written a few series to add on my blog. So I decided to write a new one and on this case I chose Soul Eater as I've finished the series and watched it several times now.

Update: New Evangelion Smartphone Hands on Video revealed.

The new evangelion smartphone where I posted here in my blog was well received by many. Today NTT DoCoMo posted a teaser featuring the phone again and this time it made them looked really really good. I guess fans of the series is just waiting for the pre-order page to appear before they ran out of units and so far what NTT DoCoMo is doing is to entice the fans.

Fuse Teppo Musume no Torimonocho Trailer Released!

One of the reinterpretation of the 106 volume epic novel Nanso Satomi Hakkenden (Eight Dog Chronicles) of Kyokutei Bakin will be having it's movie titled Fuse Teppo Musume no Torimonocho. The movie diverts differently from the novel where the protagonist investigates about a were-wolf.

Senran Kagura BURST the sequel to the hit anime-ish game of the 3DS Senran Kagura offers a lot of exclusive items for the buyers of the game. This of course will satisfy the fans of the game waiting for some NSFW visuals and exclusivities which is not available for late buyers.

Who knows that a fishing game will be released in the iOS from the weird/odd anime Tsuritama. And what makes it different from other iOS games is that it makes use of your environment, so in other words it's an Augmented Reality game.

I never thought that Pangya, an MMO golf game which was released a few years back, is still alive and active on other countries. If you still have your account and the game is still on service on your country you can now chose some of the Nisemonogatari skins to pimp up your character.

Accel World finally did it right and is one of the Spring Anime in Japan who first released it's teaser of the upcoming game slated this Summer. Though it's still too early in relation to how many episodes was aired, they pushed through a great preview with a little bit of game play scenes.

Durarara Review

Classifying Durarara on which genre it belongs to will put the title to different categories. Should it be considered a slice of life, Thriller and Adventure depends mostly on how you viewed it but if you're going to ask me I'll make a different category for Durarara and call it creatives. Stupid as my sugesstion is, it's the best word that I can describe for the anime. And good thing that a friend of mine suggested me to watch it because I just missed a quarter of my life when I didn't watched the show.

Here's another good game that will be seen in iOS and Android devices when the month of May arrives. Dangan Ronpa from the PSP may sound ambitious leveraging all the cores from your phone and tablet but Spike Chunsoft's already decided that it will be available in separate episodes which can be bought for 500 yen each.

Tesuto Uesu's Light Novel series,Hagure Yuusha No Estetica, to be adapted to an anime TV series had it's promotional video released on it's official website. If you're having a hard time navigating on the website we found a copy of the video uploaded in YouTube by a good Samaritan.

Ciel No Surge PV Released

Damn! I thought it was Atelier Ayesha but close inspection of the video made me realized that it's the upcoming Ciel No Surge which is slated for the Vita this April 26th. Good thing Google cleared things up since they both came from Gusts. This looks to be another good reason to get a Vita and a challenge as well to the developers in making the game accessible to other countries.

If you're not tempted to buy Kubey's Limited Edition Watch by G-Shock then you might be interested trying out your favorite Heroe's Meal from the series of Fate/Zero. Full Course meal will be served by Ufotable Dining with a choice of Menu from selected heroes/heroines of the anime.

Another anime accessory/apparel is to be sold in Japan with it's pre-orders dated this April 28 to May 31st and will ship in December. I can't imagine that there's a 7 month time gap for the watch to be shipped and an order enlistment page is needed for it. I guess they've been expecting a sold out for Kyubey's G-Shock watch from the hit anime Madoka Magica.

The game will launch April 26 2012, in short that will be tomorrow! Checking the plot and obviously the title it sounds ero-ish but it's not an adult rated game. I can see the direction that the franchise will go if the game will be successful and I think it's perfect for another Harem or Hentai Anime.

Khronos Gear Anime and Game Announced

Not sure if the anime Khronos Gear will make it in time for Japan summer releases but it's till good to hear that a project to make a game and anime possible. G-mode recently announced that they will be launching a mixed media franchise of the said title from Anime International Company.

Madoka Magica's influence reached out not just to the usual anime related stuffs and now has it's own dedicated magazine which will open on June 8 and is titled Manga Time Kirara Magica. The said magazine will be published by Hobounsha which has a release cycle every after month.

You probably need to watch the first introductory video of the two chibis in preparation of the anime movie, Blood C: The Last Dark . As I've expected on my previous post they've released another clip featuring other characters from the series.

One of the most popular animes in the Philippines during the 90's I guess, I started watching it during my elementary days and I got hooked instantly to the point where my Dad scold me a couple of times cause I'm messing up my study habits. Though Yu Yu Hakusho aged a lot it's one of the animes that I'm still proud to recommend. One great aspect of the show is that the fight scenes, storyline as well as the characters are deeply integrated to the show.

Just a few days back I've featured Evangelion GPS Navigation system selling for $500 and not too long when it was announced another limited edition smartphone which is inspired by the anime will go for sale in the future. Meet NTT Docomo's latest masterpiece in collaboration of Sharp and Studio Khara they made an Android powered smartphone named Evagelion NERV Edition SH-06D.

I'm not sure if I already played the game or it's the first version that I've wasted my time to but that doesn't matter now since if you miss both of them you can play "Marvel VS. Capcom 2" in the iOS which will be released on April 25th.

Update: Code Geass Akito The Exiled Release Date Set

Instead of the customary 2 hour long movie for Movies or OVAs, Upcoming movie Code Geas: Akito The Exiled will treat us of 4 episodes of anime in 50 minute time length of the show. Seems to be a good sign for those who are unsatisfied of the usual 2 hour screening in theatres, or it's just a case of broadened scope and lengthy storyline so they resorted it in favor of the fans.

Update 04/09/2013: One Piece Film Z Will be shown in SM Cinemas.

The newly announced film by Eiichiro Oda, One Piece Z, will premiere this December 15 but despite the long wait they already released a teaser with the new arch-enemy displayed at the end of the clip. If you're a big One Piece follower or just a "Pirate Addict" then you might have a big chance on guessing on who's going to be the character of the film.

Dollars Dollars Dollars!

So far there's been less news in the anime community because most of the news about trailers, PVs has been already consumed since Spring Animes are already airing in Japan. Most of the blogs that I've encountered already started doing episodic anime reviews and on my case I don't do it since it spoils much of the fun. What I do is to watch a few episodes and write my first impressions as you can see in several of my posts, and when I complete the series I make my final review.As of today there's no specific topic to blog about and I'm still busy catching up some good animes so I decided to write a random post on what's going on my head.

Oldest Queen's Blade Fan Spotted

He may not be an official Guinness Title Holder but that's not an excuse for grandpa to get a spotlight to our blog. Of course you may look ridiculous for your age still liking the anime but sometimes there are cases where your mind is not stopping you to get over your addiction.

They're expecting to top the charts again as the New One Piece Film Z got an early introduction on Shueisa's Weekly Shounen Jumps 21'st/22nd issue. The man behind the manga, Eiichiro Oda will be designing the upcoming movie and highlighted that the strawhat crew will be facing it's strongest enemy yet.

I don't understand why there's been a series of manga closings this year. Bleach was one of the most-loved anime and was shortly sentenced to death and I'm sure that it won't be long until the manga follows the same fate. Air Gear was another popular one and and with just a surprising announcement it ended well too. This time it's Tsugumi Ohba's Bakuman.

Zetman Anime - First Impressions

I was thinking of the usual Sentai shows when I hear the title of the anime Zetman and the first thing that comes to my mind is the image of the hero in human form that performs a pose and shouts his name "ZETTTTTOMANNNNN!".

GTO's Tohru Fujisawa is now headed towards a different genre which tackles food contrary to what GTO is which talks about adventures and life. With no specific details of the new manga aside from a possible debut next month at Futabasha's Manga Action Magazine everything's looking good for the said Author.

Phi Brain: Kami No Puzzle's second season is already airing to most of the popular anime streaming sites already, yet they'll just gonna release it's first game for the PSP this May in Japan. It's still a month long wait but for those who cannot sustain their excitement for the upcoming game, they might entertain themselves by watching this trailer straight from arc system work's official YouTube channel.

Fairy Tail Review

I spent a lot of time watching Fairy Tail when I'm still working in the office and that's a couple of months back. My shift starts around 1:00 and I get up around 8 in the morning so I have a precious 3 hours of slacker in the morning doing nothing aside from the usual rituals like eating breakfast and brief exercise. That free hours I got was dedicated for partial anime viewing and Fairy Tail is one of the few series that I followed.

It's rare to see a video of how the manga ZetMan is drawn straight from the master itself, Masakazu Katsura. I've seen a couple of videos on how to draw anime using pen tablets but what I didn't know is that they still use the classic pen and paper before the publishing starts. I probably need to watch Bakuman since it details on how manga creation is done.

The Prince of Tennis Review

Probably it's been more than 8 years when I saw Prince of Tennis and I still remember every bit of it. I'm an avid follower of the anime and I've finished the show watching it in local channels. Add it up with the right timing, which is after school hours then there's definitely no way I could miss and enjoy it.

I've been spending more time on my laptop than watching TV mainly because I don't enjoy the local channels that is offered by our cable operator. Animax and Hero TV fails to amuse me for a couple of reasons that I don't want to share. The good news is, I had a new found love to the new Channel that I just discovered. I can now watch HOTD (Highschool Of The Dead) and Kurozuka which is very unlikely for Animax and Hero to be aired.

A 26 year old idol who's been a singer and involved to some anime vocal work has been arrested by Tokyo police for the crimes of internet vandalism to her company website. This idol seems to be active on previous year wherein she was part of live performances and is in contract for music and anime related work.

Sankarea Anime - First Impressions

I'm having second thoughts of watching Sankarea as I'm not really into romance anime. The last time I saw one is when I was in High School and that's like 8 years back. But I gave it a chance so I reorganized my to-watch list since I can still squeeze in some hot animes that otakus and fans are talking about. So far so good, I didn't expect that I enjoyed every bit of the first two episodes.

Namco Bandai's announcement of Ni No Kuni's release date may have caused frustation to some of the gamers wishing for the early release but I think that's necessary for making the game more epic. This time they released the official English Trailer which I believed caused more excitement on the eager fans of the franchise.

So little information was released about the Anime Series "Shining Hearts: Shiawase No Pan". Not unless you played the game which might give you some clue on what direction the anime will go since the description of the original game suggests that it's a Strategy RPG but the title sounds another cooking flick.

Jormungand Anime - First Impressions

I've been seeing comments that Jormungand is like Black Lagoon but I can't give feedback on that since I haven't seen Black Lagoon on the first place. If I'll compare it to other anime that I've already seen it reminds me of Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. The setting of the two anime is far from each other but there are elements in the anime such as team spirit and great leadership which reminds me of GITS: Section 9 ^^,

GPS Systems are so common these days that you only need your smartphone to hook up in your Car and you got yourself a helper. Not unless you want an "Exclusive" and "Rare" beauty like this Evangelion's NERV Navigation System which is made specifically for the fans of the anime.

An otaku was currently arrested for sending a couple of death threat emails to the author of Ore No Imouto series. This otaku was found out that he was a fan of Kirino Kosaka and was angered by the author's favorable treatment to Kuroneko in recent volumes of the series.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 ported to Consoles

If you've been one of the hardcore players out there hanging out in your favorite arcade station to increase your Tekken ranking of the new Tekken Tag Tournament 2, perhaps you'll be delighted hearing that the hit arcade game will be ported in Consoles this September. I know! It's common sense since most Tekken Games are always gets a console port but that's not stopping us to post the good news.

If you're one of the fans who owns legit copy of anime and games then you should be aware that you'll need to get a copyright permission before you upload any soft copies you have in file sharing services. The consequences will definitely lead to arrest just like what happened to a 34 year old man which was arrested by Japanese Police by uploading Anime and Games over the internet.

Originally streamed from Anime Content Expo, the new anime trailer of Jormungand is now available in YouTube containing 2 minutes of high kicking action. Jormungand is an anime adaption of the manga itself by Keitaro Takahashi and is now airing in Japan this Spring.

Update: Ni No Kuni English Trailer Now Out

Ni No Kuni, one of the beautifully made RPGs made in Japan last November of 2011 was first planned for a 2012 winter release in the US. Sadly this planned date is pushed back and is now scheduled in the first quarter of 2013.

Tiger & Bunny Gets A PSP Game

Namco Bandai's upcoming PSP Game of the hit anime series Tiger & Bunny is set to be released this fall in Japan. Just in time to catch up for Tiger & Bunny: The Beginning which is scheduled for September road show.

One of the recent animes last 2011, UN-GO, just got Nisemonogatari-ized by g3pen! using a mashup of characters from Nisemonogatari and UN-GO's ending theme. It's a great piece of work from the illustrations used and it's epic cloud formation to one of it's characters!

Not all the time, those who performed well on the TV with great fandom gets the same result when shipped on DVDs and BDs. Take a look for example on this survey conducted by Big Globe Poll, most of the Titles you'll see have good reviews and ratings but disappointingly failed on delivering good sales performance on their disc counterparts
