Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita Trailer unveiled

Update: Teaser 2 for Jinrui Was Suitai Shimashita Released

Let me set this straight! Fairies don't exist! not unless you live on Romeo Tanaka's Future Earth on his anime adaptation from his light novel series 'Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita'. The Trailer kinda looks weird with a talking pink chicken in the beginning. But I could be wrong in case this one is a 'Faerie' or could be an alien.

Sword Art Online Anime PV released

Sword Art Online sounds like your typical MMO but is in fact an anime. The thing about the Title is that it's about an MMORPG called "Sword Art Online" so this reminds me of .HACK titles and Hunter X Hunter's Greed island Arc.

Hunter X Hunter PSP Game headed this fall in Japan

You have to wait until fall this year to get the new Hunter X Hunter PSP Game that will under Namco Bandai. It was announced this week under Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine under the Title "Hunter X Hunter: Wonder Adventure" where the primary characters Gon and Killua will mostly take part in the game.

Blue Exorcist Anime now having a Movie

I'm still stuck at Episode 10 of Blue Exorcist and I think I need to continue watching the series again as it's reportedly having a Movie this year. This site put up a countdown timer for the April 1st release of a said to be movie trailer of the anime.

How China Sweeps Road

I'm not sure if I'll consider it intuitive or just plain crazy but this machine here is being used to Sweep roads in one of the provinces in China. So far it didn't gained too much traction in the community so I'd say it's partly fail. Anyway the Hubei province authority claims that the machine is efficient that it can do the task of 20 street sweepers.

Phi Brain - Kami no Puzzle Season 2 licensed by Sentai Filmworks

More anime being licensed by Sentai Filmworks for the past few days and this time it's the Puzzle Thriller anime, Phi Brain - Kami no Puzzle Season 2. Seems like the success of the first season was definitely a no brainer to get the second season under their hood.

The Girl who leapt through Time Review

I'm actually not feeling well today but due to strict discipline I'm forcing myself to write a review to Mamoru Hosoda's, "The girl who leapt through time". It's a shame that I just watched the series despite releasing it on theatres last 2006. Still I want to put all my efforts in making this review so viewers who wants to rewatch the anime or for those who still haven't watched it will be enlightened.

Hatsukoi Limited now licensed by Sentai Filmworks

Those waiting for original subtitled copy of Hatsukoi limited you can hope to get it this year as Sentai Filmworks already acquired the franchise and is planning to have a digital release. If you're tired of watching action and adventure for some unknown reason then I think this could serve as a hint for you to check out different genres.

Otaku Defined - Facts you don't yet know!

Crazy it is but most of Filipino anime fans out there claim that they are "Otaku" but did you know that there's more to the word than being more than just an anime fan? The term "Otaku" was now accepted by youths today as a term for fans obsessed with anime and other things related to it but actually, Otakus in Japan received so much negativity compared to other countries.

Kono Danshi, Ningyo Hiroimashita anime teaser released

I didn't expect that there will be another Kono Danshi anime that will be released. The first one was Kono Danshi, Uchhujin to Tatakaemasu which I've mentioned last year. Now there's another Kono Danshi anime that will be aired this 2012. The first one was about fighting aliens and this time it's about mermaids, I wonder if Soubi Yamamoto's work is something worth seeing.

Hunter X Hunter 2011 to be aired April 24th in Animax

They should have shown it last year so the Title fits well but it's never too late than never. Now it's all good news for the fans who is following the series in the manga because they can now enjoy the remake starting this 24th of April . I've been following Hunter X Hunter 2011 until episode 10 and stopped watching it because of busy schedule. This time I might finished the whole season for good without any further interruptions since I'll be free for the rest of the year.

Bleach Anime Ends - Manga will soon to follow

Finally - for the fans who are not pleased anymore on what is happening on the Anime version of Bleach, everything ends well and was liked by most of the followers of the anime. The Anime started on 2004 and I was in high school then, it was really hot but due to serious competition and fillers that are ruining the story line it ended up at the back of Naruto and One Piece.

Kuroko No Basuke inspires a PSP Game

Seems like popular anime Titles are having a PSP game this year. Kuroko no Basuke which will air next month will have it's very own PSP Game too titled "Kuroko no Basuke Kiseki no Game". It still unconfirmed on who'll be developing the game but it looks like this will be more like a simulation game instead of the usual basketball style of gaming (NBA Live anyone?).

AnoHana anime will be having a PSP Game

Update: AnoHana Teaser and Release Date revealed.

We all Know that the hit K On game on psp will be ported to a PS3 game but it's more surprising that AnoHana anime will be having it's very own game too which will be released in PSP. Remembering my post about the upcoming Bakemonogatari PSP game , I think PSP's will be living in the hands of anime fans for a few more years before PSVita will fully replace them.

Lupin III - The Woman named Fujiko Mine PV released

Lupin the III's upcoming series which will air this April 4th just released it's PV, I'm not sure if there was a series of clips released for the last two weeks since I'm on hiatus. I posted the info here in my blog, about it's expected air time in which the story is focused to the hot protagonist Fujiko Mine.

Phantasy Star Online 2 will be Free to Play

I've been targeting to play Phantasy Star Online the moment I saw it on TV and internet commercials. The only sad part knowing that it's region locked and needs to have a paid subscription to play the game is a big downer to me since I rely too much on my monthly allowance during that time it was hot. Sega's announcement about it's upcoming sequel which is Phantasy Star Online 2 which will be available in latest gaming platforms will be free to play and is a big change from the franchise.

Natsuiro Kiseki TV Ad Streamed

Premiering this April 5th in Japan, Natsuiro Kiseki streams yet again another video featuring the girls from the anime. It's the 5th time that they've released commercials about Natsuiro Kiseki and it definitely looks like a shojo to me. I could be wrong, but if it's not a shojo then this definitely means that this is meant for anime fans looking for another moe goodness.

Saint Seiya Omega PV streamed

I've posted the casts of the new upcoming Saint Seiya Omega Anime here in my blog and I think i missed a couple of PVs which was already released but it's never too late to feature this short clip featuring one of the protagonists, "Koga" and of course "Seiya".

Back from Hiatus

After a long break of not writing a single post for this blog I'm finally back from Hiatus. I'm finally done accomplishing my pending items from my employer so I'm all cleared with the documents and all the stuff needed for my resignation. There's been too many things that happened for the past two weeks so I won't be looking back at the things that I've missed. I'm looking to the future events and news in the anime community and I might add some highlights worth mentioning. No improvement from my blog stats so it's  quite disappointing from a webmaster's point of view but anyway I have a full year to achieve my goals which I mentioned here.

Kore wa Zombie Desu ka season 2 PV released

This appears to be a legit PV of the hit zombie anime "Kore wa Zombie Desu ka" which aired between January 2011 and March 2011. This means that it will go for the Spring release of available animes this 2012, the sad part though is that it's nearing the end of April so a little bit late for the eager followers of the franchise.

Library War: The Wings of Liberty Trailer released

I mentioned Library War around January with a few rants about how appropriate the anime was when SOPA is a hot topic over the internet. At last Kadokawa's official website finally unveiled it's first trailer, Library War: The Wings of Liberty on it's official Youtube channel. I'll be watching the series when it will be released but it would take a few months of waiting as the anime movie is slated for June release this year.

Bakemonogatari Game Teases us with this Video

I didn't realize that there's an upcoming game of Bakemonogatari, There's been a sequel of the popular anime called Nisemonogatari already so I'm not sure if both of the anime's storylines will get covered in the game or a "new" plot is in the works. Whatever the outcome of this new Bakemonogatari game, the fans will definitely embrace it with without hesitations.

Toei Animation releases casts for Saint Seiya Omega

I'm not sure if there's a PV roaming around the internet for Toe's Saint Seiya Omega which will be released April 8th next month but the casts for sure for the popular franchise has been already announced. It will be another glorious line up for the anime lists this spring considering that there are a bunch of new and returning series that anime fans anticipate of.

Tsuritama 2nd PV Streamed

Debuting April 12 next month Tsuritama already started streaming it's 2nd Promotional video on their official site. Kenji Nakamura's new anime appears to be very unconventional focusing on the concept of "fishing". I know little information about the series as it appears to a new creation that will debut on Fuji TV's Noitamina time slot.

Chaos Rings II probably due this month

Chaos Rings II might be the very first JRPG game from Square Enix that is specifically targeted to the emerging gaming platform, the iOS. There's no announcement yet from the game publisher for the official release date of Chaos Rings II but judging from the current status of it's blog, it appears that the game will be out this month or in the early days of April.

Moekana Let's You Learn Japanese in a Fun Way

I've been checking Dany's latest post and I'm impressed to his latest product which aims to teach the basics of "Hiragana". Enter "Moekana" a collection of flash cards with very cute art work which makes it fun for young individuals eager to learn the basics of the Japanese Language. Too bad I'm not determined to take Japanese classes and if by chance that I've enrolled to a Japanese class locally I won't hesitate to get Dany's new toy.

Dragon's Dogma Pawn Sharing Video unveiled

Capcom's Unity Website began streaming Dragon's Dogma's pawn sharing facility on it's 2 minute video. The game will be released May 22nd in North America, May 24th on Japan and May 25th in Europe and Australia for XBOX 360 and Playstation 3. No word yet if there will be a PC Port but who knows if the title becomes successful and a demand for a pc version will be inevitable.

Lupin III - The Woman named Fujiko Mine slated April 4th

The last time I saw Lupin III series was actually a movie "Lupin III vs Detective Conan" and I'm a bit disappointed on how the plot goes since I expected too much of brain fights making the title misleading. This time, staff and cast are now in place for the new anime TV series titled "Lupin III - The woman named  Fujiko Mine".

K-On Game to be ported in PS3

It's a surprise that Sega's 2010 PSP game "K-ON! Ho-kago Live!!" will finally be ported to PS3 introducing a more refined graphics for an HD experience. It was a surprise why Sega made this move since it took them a year to release this. I guess it took their programmers a lot of effort to fully complete the process of porting the game which is why it missed a 2011 release.

Temple Run is addicting!

Didn't qualify as an anime post but I'd like to publish it here since I've been planning to enter game development in the Android Market. To be Honest I've never been so addicted to any mobile games before aside from Fruit Ninja. The stereotype of most anime lovers is that they're also a hardcore pc gamer, I'm one of those exceptions by the way since I didn't play much on my PC nor do I own a console for dedicated gaming. This time around I'm hooked to play Temple Run and it's amazing how the simplicity of the game was very entertaining. Right now I'm handing my iPod touch to my sister to get rid of this time wasters.

Space Brothers Anime TV series PV released

It's amazing to see that Space Brother's PV had an amazing artwork. It's keen illustrations with distinctive style of animation by Ayumu Watanabe certainly fits this upcoming anime series this 2012. The story is about the two brothers who dreamed to be astronauts in the future but only one of the brothers, Hibito fulfilled its dream. However a series of events happened which give Muta, the elder brother, to redeem his dream in traveling in the outer space.

The Legend of Korra - Trailer Released

I've been enthusiastic watching "Avatar: The last air bender" , it was released long time back but because of time constraints, school works and house chores I never had the chance to finish the series. I think it's divided to different "Books" and I only finished "Water" and "Air" arcs which is kinda frustrating because I'm planning to watch the series again and I think I have to begin from the very first episode since I can't remember the important details of the story. If you've been a fan of the anime (not really an anime) I believe you probably know "The Legend of Korra" which is another continuation  of the story. I think the teaser below will entice everyone who's been a classic for the kids.

Touch Screen Vending Machines!

We all know how vending machines are popular in Japan as seen from different anime genres. Slice of Life anime series, Detective thrillers and different type of genres feature characters taking their favorite drink from vending machines. It's amazing how the Japanese included it as one of the iconic stuff on different anime series. I'm quite envious because here in the Philippines you'll rarely see vending Machines! You have to get a drink by buying one at a convenience store (Ministop or 7 Eleven). This time, Vending Machines in Japan are being steadily replaced by touch screen enabled counterparts. If most of the phones right now are touch based then I think there's no reason for Vending Machines to follow the trend.
