You might be curious on how Eiichiro Oda has been manufacturing those great ideas and illustrations in the manga especially when the series is running for more than 10 years already. Otaku Police of 2ch probably showed a startling revelation where those ideas are coming from and you might be surprised when you see this long illustration of patched up pictures of what could have been Eiichiro Oda's inspiration.
Clearly you can see a striking similarity of the works and it surprises me that they've spotted the resemblance of the pictures.
