The longest of title, but was composed of the shortest number of episodes for a great series. 11 episodes to be exact, but packed with emotions and surprises. The anime is popularly known as Ano Hana as it's short name and is one of the best drama anime I've seen.

The driving force of the anime is how the characters cope up with a loss of a love one. At first I didn't understood how the story goes and there's so much Moe Blob on the first episode but reaching halfway on the first episode I now understood that we're dealing with supernatural entity here and not just some hallucinations. The thing is, it's a slow starter and paced moderately - which is in fact a good thing.
AnoHana - The Goods
- AnoHana is for everyone but for those who are looking to a drama anime this is probably the best Title you can get.
- 11 episodes and is great for one sitting. Best seen with your friends which is perfect for an anime marathon.
- Great Characters - The main casts and supporting characters did their job very well. Very good animation and voice acting. Very good exchange of conversations from the casts and their different personalities blend well on how they play their role.
- Unorthodox style of story telling and will make you think in different directions of what really happened to their friendship. Just don't overdo it cause it's not overly complicated but is very enjoyable to watch
- Great Animation and ArtWork hands down!
- Great Music and Theme - I love the opening music which perfectly set the mood of the viewers in preparation for the episode.
AnoHana - The Bads
Honestly I can't think of one - AnoHana is simply a masterpiece. If there's one flaw about the anime is that it's very hard to recommend it to anyone because of the plot. It's very rare for me to found a Drama Anime that is enjoyable. It's a semi-romantic piece but you can't recommend it to romance anime viewers. It's definitely not for shonen addicts because it's the exact opposite. It's also hard to recommend for Slice of Life aficionados cause it's hardly SoL. I'll rate it an A+ because it's simply the best... Too Bad it's hard to localize the anime in the Philippines.
