It would be nice if the storyline in the movie has connections in the anime/manga series, after all Masashi Kishimoto is involved in making this possible. Rumors spread that this will be the last movie of the anime as the Manga is nearing on it's climax and the end of the storyline is already planned. If that would be the case, the fate of Naruto will be similar to what happened to Bleach and Air Gear.
