Update2: New Evangelion Smartphone Hands On Video arrived
Just a few days back I've featured Evangelion GPS Navigation system selling for $500 and not too long when it was announced another limited edition smartphone which is inspired by the anime will go for sale in the future. Meet NTT Docomo's latest masterpiece in collaboration of Sharp and Studio Khara they made an Android powered smartphone named Evagelion NERV Edition SH-06D.
Powered up with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, it's still unsure if it will get an ICS update but that I think won't be an issue since most of the prospected buyers is more concerned on the NERV-ish looks, and the UI of course is a sure proof of that. Too bad there's no video of it yet to check on how responsive the phone will be but with it's 1.2Ghz clocked inside I'm pretty confident that it will be snappy to run your favorite apps.
Only limited units is available so you better get yourself ready if you're planning to buy this Evangelion Smartphone. And before I forget, this phone is only available in Japan and with no announced price tag yet.
