The story revolves around Yagami Light, a young genius known for his intelligence in school. Yagami Light hates crime and injustice and his life changed when he picked up a notebook capable of killing someone by just writing the name of the person and obeying the rules written in it. He confirmed that the notebook is capable of doing such things and later he realized that a Death God is the one who owns it. As time passed, the balance of dying criminals were noticed and a special task force is created to discover what is causing this. This is where "L" a super detective is set to haunt Yagami Light which is now known as "Kira", a divine being known by men who prosecutes criminals and the like.
Otakus are probably rejoicing right now as Konami unveiled the full trailer of it's sim game, LovePlus in 3DS. Haven't played the original one so I really can't tell how this fairs but judging on how it looks on the video is very promising. What interests me the most is augmented reality but I guess this won't be much fun as it's limited I guess to Japanese language. Unless you understand well enough then consider yourself a lucky fellow if the game interest you the most.
I thought it's going to be Basilisk and again I'm wrong, I always get confused between the two so I guess I need to watch "Berserk" in order to understand the difference and let it settle in my brain. A quick help with the wikis gave me some clue on what it is about and it kinda interests me as it involves medieval Europe instead of Samurais. It's kinda awkward in my opinion as Japanese is known for ninjas and eastern icons yet Berserk is a representation of western arts. The trailer is exciting and I believe a fairly good move if you want to be introduced the manga.
I've seen R.O.D as an anime way back when I was studying in College/Highschool. The bad thing is that it's dubbed so it's really frustrating watching it. If I have the time then I could have watched it but it seems that the story do not have the spark as much like Death Note. I'll be reviewing the anime again and see how many episodes it does have.
Blue Exorcist is a story of two twin siblings Yukio and Rin Okumura, both are son of Father Shiro Fujimoto an exorcist. Unknown to Rin is that he's the Son of Satan and at the coming of right age his true powers has been revealed which is symbolized by blue flames surrounding around him when he's been provoked. Because of this, he's been haunted by demons and minions of Satan but Father Shiro Fujimoto resisted and saved Rin from being taken. He was then given a sword to be protected and never to be drawn from it's scabbard but when Father Shiro was close to death he then used the sword and Rin became a true demon but is too late to save his Father from death.
